The Written Supper Society with Val & Adam
There’s something sacred about a shared story—especially when it’s passed around like a platter at a dinner party. That’s the spirit behind The Written Supper Society, a monthly book club Adam and I created not just to read, but to gather.
Each month, we choose a book that stirs something—something worth chewing on. Fiction or memoir, classic or contemporary, each selection is paired with thoughtful conversation, questions that don’t feel like homework, and a sense of connection that feels like home.
And because we can’t help ourselves—we’re layering in even more beauty. For each book, we’ll be uploading recipes (yes, even cocktails), table décor suggestions, maybe a themed playlist or two… all to inspire you to host your own supper, rooted in the story. Think of it as the intersection of literature and lifestyle—curated with heart.
We believe in books the way we believe in beautiful table settings and long, meandering dinners: they’re vessels for story, for reflection, for delight. And just like any great supper, you don’t need to know anyone to pull up a chair. It’s free, it’s cozy, and it’s always open to kindred spirits.
So consider this your handwritten invitation. Come read with us. Come think with us. Come be a part of the story.
We officially begin in July, but go ahead and join today!
