This season, I’ve been reflecting on how art travels—sometimes farther than we can imagine. One day I got a text from a number I didn’t recognize. The message said, “I was vacationing in the Hamptons when I saw someone walking by in a denim jacket with a fluffy dog painted on the back… I had to stop them and ask, ‘Where did you get that jacket? Is that your dog?’

The person proudly replied, “Oh yes—it’s my pup! I had it painted by an artist named Adam… he’s the best!” And just like that, my number was passed along.

That’s how I met Sam, who commissioned two custom jackets featuring his own beloved fur baby, along with four hand-painted coasters. Creating those pieces was pure joy. Every brushstroke felt like a small act of harvest—gathering love, memory, and devotion, and transforming them into wearable and livable art.

Fall, to me, is about that same process: collecting what matters, honoring it, and carrying it forward in new forms. My hope is that when you sit with these pieces, you feel both the warmth of what’s familiar and the spark of transformation.
